200 words on my feelings right now

I really need to just zone out right now and well just forget about everything! I just am upset is the word. I’m also really really really mad and sad like a twist of both :( I hate this….I’ll start from the beginning. So there are these two twins in my grade lets call them Carter and Sammy just for the fun of it. They moved to Virginia this year and the girl, Sammy decided it would be so awesome to have a 13th birthday party back in NJ which is totally awesome!!!!! SARCASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She decides to invite almost everyone in the grade but uh hmm not me!!!! I don’t know about you but I do not like being left out…..I just, wished nobody told me about this party, because it really really hurt my feelings. Now here I am laying in my bed listening to Christina Aguilera expressing my feelings on the blog. I’m just so thankful I have this blog because sometimes it really helps me just let everything out and just express my feelings plus I get to read all out kelly’s work which is always a pleasure. Thanks fellow bloggers for just helping me out.

Life

Life. No one really knows what your life will be like. But all we know is that it's going to be messy. No matter what you've got to be strong and take risks sometimes. Life will never be perfect. Life is messy. Life is like a winding road with forks. You'll have to choose the path you would like to go on. Sometimes we make mistakes, big mistakes. But we just stand back up and try to learn from that mistake.

Sedona

The sun lights up the red rocks in Sedona each day.
The red rocks reflect the history of them and Sedona.
I climb the mesa to watch the sun say goodbye to us.
It's silent while others watch the glory of the sun as it says goodbye.
Some people meditate, write, practice yoga, and others just watch in silence.
I lay on my back and stare up into the sky.
The wind rustles my hair gently.
Then the sun disapears from us suddenly.
And that is the end of the the wondorous sunset on top of the red rock mesa.

Fears

Fears. Face it everybody has a fear. Whether it's spiders, snakes, maniacs, or falling asleep at night..we all have one. Some fears are taken to extreme limits which lead into therapy, while others are left as they are. In life you can basically get hurt doing anything, walking the dog, crossing the street, participating in a sport, pretty much any thing. Which is why you have to be cautious but not too cautious. For pete sake you have to live your life by making your skin a little bit thicker as you go on. Fears are something we all have a bit of trouble living with, but face it there is a lot of things in life that we have to just....live with.

Yolonda's Genius by: Carol Fenner

Hey peeps! Happy Passover or Easter!
I just read Yolonda's Genius by Carol Fenner
Rating: 10
Here's the teaser:

Yolanda is a great big girl and strong for her age, bigger and
stronger and smarter than anyone else in the fifth grade. She is cool
and streetwise, too, and afraid of no one. It's easy for her to watch
out for her little, first-grade brother, Andrew. But their mother, a
legal professional and a widow, is concerned about crime and drugs in
her children's Chicago school. She moves them all to a smaller and,
she hopes, smaller town.
Yolanda, at first, is scornful of her new town. And Andrew, who never
talks much, is having trouble learning to read. What he loves to do is
play on the old harmonica given to him as a baby by his father to
teethe on and which he's kept blowing ever since. He can imitate any
sound he hears, like bacon sizzling, or express any mood he feels,
like the freshness of an early morning. Yolanda understands that
that's the way he "talks." She is convinced Andrew is a true genius
with a great musical gift. But no one else believes it—not her mother,
nor Andrew's teachers, not even wonderful Aunt Tiny in Chicago.
Yolanda sets out to open up adult eyes, a task whose strategies will
call on far more than her physical toughness. Her plans crystallize on
a visit back to Chicago to enjoy the great annual blues festival with
Aunt Tiny.

This book is great for music lovers and boys and girls! Ages: 9-12
Hope you read over Easter or Passover!!
XoXo,
Kelly

Feeling left out

A poem I wrote

Feeling left out,
can make you scream
feeling left out,
can make you cry
feeling left out by friends,
aint' so bad
feeling left by family,
is that bad.

Where did the time go??

Where did the time go??
I'm sorry that I did not knowing you fully.
I wish I could go back in time to the day you were young.
I would bake cookies with you and have sleepovers.
I would see what you were like.
I love you dearly.
I hate to watch you fall and try to get up.
I know that your time is limited.
I know that soon you will be gone.
In another place.
I love you.

Your granddaughter,
Kelly

I miss you

When the sun goes down,
when the moon comes up.
I dream about the times,
that I miss so much.
I used to test you back,
but now I have to deny.
I'm going to your birthday party,
although I think I might cry.
I hope you may come back,
and I know this doesn't rhyme.

HC HC o where did you go...I liked you while you lasted,
but now I must go.
